On Friday, March 7, 2025, at 9:35 hours, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted an audience to medical and public health personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic who participated in the 27th Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health, at the Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace. The delegation was led by Professor Emeritus Dr. Kraisid Tontisirin.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously presented certificates to 58 medical and public health personnel who completed the training program. The representatives of 12 training courses also presented their academic works they created during the training.

The Training Program has been conducted since 2000 (B.E. 2543) with the collaboration of Mahidol University, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and the Office of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects. To date, 1,113 health personnel have completed the training program.

The 27th Training Program was held from February 3 to March 13, 2025. It consisted of 2 tracks, i.e. academic/service track and administrative track. Training methods included lecture, practice, field visits and group discussion.
