Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Ban Khlong Daeng Border Patrol Police School in Kaeng Hang Maeo District, Chanthaburi Province.

On June 2, 2025, at 13.20 hours, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Ban Khlong Daeng Border Patrol Police School in Kaeng Hang Maeo District, Chanthaburi Province. This marks her fourth visit to this school and the 1,127th visit to Border Patrol Police Schools overall.

The school, established in 2002, currently provides education from kindergarten to Grade 6 for 64 students. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously presented educational supplies to the principal and students, as well as plum mango saplings and vegetable seeds to local villagers.

The progress of the implementation of the children and youth development project in the school is summarized as follows: all children had good nutritional statuses; every student completed grade 6 could continue his/her secondary education. For the students who have received Her Royal Highness’s Scholarship: 5 are still studying and 11 were graduated.

In addition, Her Royal Highness also observed kindergarten activities, mental arithmetic classes using abacuses improve concentration and calculation skills, vocational training includes producing herbal tea from sappan tree, banana cake, paper mache crafts, the school clinic, library services, and student cooperative initiatives including savings and accounting practice.

In the case of a school lunch agricultural project, students cultivate vegetables, mushrooms, fruits and raise chickens, ducks, fish, and frogs. Moreover, seeds are distributed to parents for home use, helping reduce household expenses.

Before leaving, Her Royal Highness visited the medical and dental units which offered free services to the communities by medical team from Kaeng Hang Maeo Hospital and dental team from Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.
