<\/p>Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Dara Wittaya School, Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat Province, to follow up on the progress of projects under her royal initiative.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On 17 September 2026, at 2:30 p.m., Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously visited Dara Wittaya School, Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat Province, to follow up on the progress of projects under her royal initiative. The school currently provides education from kindergarten to Grade 12 and is under the Office of the Private Education Commission. It has a total of 1,697 students, including 596 secondary school boarding students.<\/span>

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness followed up on the progress of the implementation of child and youth development project in remote areas under her royal initiative at the school. The activities included student cooperative activities, in which students learned and practiced by themselves through shop management, savings, and bookkeeping.<\/span>

In terms of vocational skills development, the school provides basic sewing lessons for secondary school students. They learn to sew clothes, bags, cloth bags, and everyday items. Her Royal Highness graciously granted industrial sewing machines, an overlock sewing machine, and sewing materials and equipment for teaching and learning.<\/span>

Regarding library activities, the school received 137 books graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness to promote students\u2019 reading habits.<\/span>

Her Royal Highness observed computer classes and followed up on the progress of the Agriculture for School Lunch Project. The activities included growing vegetables, fruit trees, beans, and mushrooms, as well as raising laying hens and fish. The produce is used as ingredients for school lunches. Students are also trained in processing agricultural products into value-added products, including dried bananas with grains, oyster mushroom chili paste, and herbal drinks such as roselle juice and butterfly pea lemon juice. These products are sold at the school cooperative and in the community, enabling students to develop vocational skills that can be further developed to generate income. The project has also been expanded from the school to the community. Seedlings are distributed to parents to grow for household consumption, helping reduce household expenses. Household accounting is also promoted among community members.<\/span>

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously granted an audience to administrators, teachers, and students from 10 schools under the royal initiative projects under the Office of the Private Education Commission.<\/span>

Thereafter, Her Royal Highness graciously visited local residents, the Royal Medical Unit, and the Royal Dental Unit, which Her Royal Highness graciously assigned to Ra-ngae Hospital, together with the Faculty of Dentistry, Prince of Songkla University, to provide medical examinations and dental services to students and members of the public. A total of 1,078 people received medical services, while 635 people received dental services, including fillings, dental scaling, tooth extractions, and fluoride applications.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
